Mr Independent

Noah has discovered mobility... Hooray, Yippie, Wahoo I think... Mr. Independent is now asleep on his big boy bed (aka mattress on the floor), a decision made based on his attempts to clamber out of his crib. He has been busy scooting around the condo exploring everything he can get his hands on. One moment alone is sure to equal either a big mess, a goose-egg, or both. Yesterday after I put Noah down for his nap he awoke and decided to climb the changing table (a goose-egg moment). No wonder I can't sleep! I'm on edge wondering what's next. I curled up next to his bed tonight and wrapped my arms around him. What peace to know that he is safe in my arms. For one moment I am a good mother, but don't let me close my eyes, or all hell could break loose again.
